"Her greatest legacy was an enthusiasm for life." ~ Winslow Tudor
Today would have been Tasha Tudor's 93rd birthday.
Today is the day for us to remember this remarkable "author, creator, and lover of life".
Not only does her artwork bring you joy and peace, but she lived her life as beautifully and meaningfully and inspirationally as any picture she painted. She was indeed intentionally peaceful and joyful.
Be sure to stop by Clarice's and Suzanne's and let them know how you're celebrating Tasha's birthday today.
For us, I'm waiting for nightfall and becoming increasingly sceptical about finding a river to float the cupcakes down (you can see a picture of this Tasha tradition on Clarice's blog). Oh, well, I'll think of something.
In the meantime, (because our normal Gibson day looks so unlike a Tudor day) we are meeting friends to put together those co-op packets and then we have ballet then two soccer practices (see, I told ya), so this morning we are painting our Sparrow Post and the girls are each decoupaging their own Button Box.
Hopefully I'll be able to pull off our tea and elevenish party tonight and get pictures to share.
Your tribute post is lovely, and what a wonderful way to spend a tribute to Tasha Tudor designing button boxes. I have posted a tribute as well. Please stop by for a visit. Karen

Thank you so much for making this lovely Tasha tribute. Even when in worry about the coming storm.
My thoughts are with you and with all those, who are in the possible path of this storm. Be safe.
Gentle hugs,
