I realized when I went to link this article that I didn't have a category for Politics.
Not strange at all. I pretty much avoid political discussions with everyone but my dear husband. Outside of the moral issues, politics makes my eyes glaze over. With age and since 9-11, I am trying to be more informed and better versed in what is happening in our country.
This year my oldest daughter gets to vote and she does ask questions and is eager to cast her vote. So we talk.
But the reason I added a new category entitled "Politics" is because I want to share this article concerning the spiritual journey of Louisana's new Governor Bobby Jindal: Rebel with a Cause
Though this blog will never become a political forum, we are, here in Louisiana, keeping our eyes on Governor Jindal and I might, in the future, share more political observations about him.

Cay,
Gov. Jindal was at our state conference and spoke passionately about his faith and the need that all politicians have for prayer from their constituents. It was awesome. He truly is a wonderful man. He pushed his next appointment back almost 30 minutes so that he could greet and take pictures with anyone that wanted them.
He rocks.

Kimberly,
I got to hear him speak last year at New LIfe Counseling's annual banquet.
Very pro-life, very knowledgeable, well-spoken, very family-oriented, and very passionate.
Louisiana is blessed to have him.
Btw, I hated missing the state conference. I need to get the tapes. I know Brandie has some. Do you have extras? Or where can I get them?

Cay,
You can email me and I'll forward the request to the people in charge of CDs. They'll let you know what to do from there.

Thank you for the link to the article, Cay. I'm praying that Senator McCain will choose Governor Jindal as his running mate. I believe he truly is a good man.
