The question at Literature Alive! was:
Dear Jamie, The answer: Come back tomorrow.
I googled "charlotte mason catholic doctrine" and found two helpful
links:
http://www.raceforheaven
http://www.materamabilis
(I'm fairly new to the list, so maybe these links are old news ...)
Disturbingly, the same search also turned up several websites that
rail against a Catholic CM approach, claiming Ms. Mason was a
heretic.. Not sure what to do with that info, but thought I'd mention
it in case you turn up similar webpages. I didn't include those links
because I didn't see the point in poisoning such a great group list.
Do you have any recommendations for doctrinal teaching in younger
grades? (My two are entering 1st & 3rd grade.)
Gratefully,
D. W.
Hi Cay
Catholic Heritage Curricula has a CM approach to it i think...
http://www.chcweb.com/
Sorry about the rude comments you encountered...that is ignorance, something Miss Mason would not have taught or enjoyed.
Blessings

I'm sorry this happened to you. Religious persecution is a terrible thing no matter where it comes from or who it is aimed at. I hope you find what you are looking for.
