With a seasoned pot roast in the slow cooker, topped by potatoes, garden-fresh turnips, and mushrooms...
I was free to take pictures of more Easter egg hunting back home...
The guys raising the shop's skeleton...
The girls playing with scrap lumber building blocks...
The older girls baking cookies...
And a relaxing day for a picnic...
Despite light jackets and pants and boots, spring is so close. Can you smell it?
I had to smile at this, Cay. Here in central Indiana, "light jackets and pants and boots" ARE typical spring attire and I am very much looking forward to being able to wear those things and to putting away the winter coats and hats and gloves. Maybe after Easter... ;-)

LOL!
"Light jackets and pants and boots" is pretty much our "winter" attire. :)
Funny how many worlds apart America can seem.

I've thought about that a lot lately as I've been seeing pictures of pretty wild flowers and barefoot children on some blogs and shoulder-high snow on others. ;-) And some of us aren't even that far apart as the crow flies, but what a difference there is in our weather!

We are still under a blanket of snow, I would defiantly call your pictures, pictures of spring. How I long to see the color green!
