There is a lot of history in the world and more being made every day. A Picture Perfect Childhood has a year-long history list like this one (only expanded) for every month of the year. That would be a lot of book buying. That's why I've included links.
The Amazon links shown above are not to tempt you to buy the books. They allow you the opportunity to view and judge the book by its cover. While I encourage book buying (hey, writers have to eat too :) ), I also encourage the use of the library. We're a single-income, multiple-child family too. I understand the desire of wanting to read. I also understand the expense of over-buying and do not wish to contribute to unnecessary credit card debt.
So check out your library first. Really. You will find some of these books there. The ones you don't find...request them. Those you can't access this January...don't worry. January will roll around again and again and again.
These books allow you to review a little history with your children. It only takes 15 minutes a day.
Go ahead. Snap!
Cay,
I've not been able to get a "picture" with your blog (where you had the Kissing God picture)for a few days now...your blog comes in ok, but no picture!:(

That's because I don't have a picture yet. :)
I played around with the template the other day and haven't had a chance to play with it again.
In the meantime, it's pretty blah, huh? :)

This is so enticing. I love seeing the selections with the book covers. This should whet everyone's appetite for your great book. I really do love those monthly timelines!
