Okay, so it wasn't on the agenda for the day but they were still being constructive and crafty, and that's allowed (and encouraged) in our little school.
Kites made out of popsickle sticks. Perhaps we need to fast-forward to Kim's "K" Funschool and make a Kaleidoscope.
Edited to add: We did take a trip to Jennifer's at S/V Mari Hal-O-Jen for a day of kite flying and a great poetry moment. Those March winds must be breezing in. What a great blogging coincidence. Thank you, Jenn!
I love it when kids do crafts all on their own initiative. Looks like they had a great time.
