...but this morning found me cleaning the oven.
It all began when the lid to the apple juice got dropped between the oven and cabinets. Dear hubby had to pull the oven out for me to retrieve it with the pecan pinchers.
What followed---behind the children---was a series of ooohss and ahhhhs! It was like Christmas morning. We found a sparkly gem bracelet, a tiny yellow plastic teddy bear, a spoon, a fork, a bouncy ball, a ribbon, lots of dust bunnies, and other trivial memories of yore.
It was like Christmas morning and the girls had a wonderful time.
Then, like any other Christmas morning, Momma had to set to work armed with the broom, dust pan, mop and Clorox cleanser.
Don't you love the things you find behind the stove? I love finding pencils. We never have enough of those : )

Merry Christmas Eve, Cay! Excuse my "yankee" here, but what are pecan pinchers? :)

I'm glad someone else asked about pecan pinchers. I'm clueless.
