We're celebrating another birthday today and, honestly, I'm tired of parties and cakes. Shhhh, don't repeat that to the birthday children. Sorry, I just had to share that because...I am. a little. sick. of cake.
This doesn't equate to being tired of my children however. :)
I wish I had time to compose a poem or a litany or a song about my little girl who is on the verge of not being so little any longer but, woe is me. There is just no time this week.
So let me just say...
Ten years ago today I held my second daughter in my arms and she was beautiful. And she is still beautiful. And I can still hold her in my arms. Her daddy and I are blessed, truly blessed, to be able to have celebrated another mile-stone birthday with our little girl. I hope we get to have many more birthdays and cake together.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY LITTLE DRAMA QUEEN!
Oh Cay, she is lovely indeed. Happy 10th birthday to your beautiful daughter!
