Oma and I were just talking about this very thing yesterday in the car. The ever wise and delightful Rachel Balducci puts it all into perspective in a nice article: Grace Enough
I especially connected with the part where Rachel writes: "I started to let my imagination get the better of me. I have a list of things I worry about, my little Rachel’s Top Ten of things I fear will happen to my children. Running full-force into an ancient oak tree isn’t even on the list."
I had to laugh. A wise priest told a friend of mine a long time ago that the stuff we actually worry about usually never happens. It's the things we haven't even thought of that meets us head-on...as it did Rachel. This pastor was a very wise man.

"Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." - Philippians 4:5-6
So true! So many times I have worried over something that has never happened, and then was blindsided by the unexpected.
