Remember our spring bucket projects? We had a bulb bloom. YAY!
DQ was thrilled. Starr cried bucketfuls because her flower has not flowered...yet. I weakly tried explaining pollination to my five-year-old. Let's hope nature does what it's suppose to. Come on...just one little flower in Starr's bee-u-tee-ful bucket. Please!
In the meantime, flowers have literally taken over the household. Literally...
My hibiscus bushes are blooming, blooming, blooming beautifully. We use to live on Hybiscus Lane and I had hibiscus in my back yard. I do miss the connection but I sure don't have trouble growing them no matter what road I live on.
And, for my online friends Nicole, Jenn, and Celeste, I present my budding gardenia bush in all its glory:
Can you smell them, ladies? One more...
And just one more...
Remember our Roxaboxen Project? It still lives...
And to think I use to laugh at my mother for taking pictures of flowers. What a sap I've become.
Here's the After Shot of the Before Shot...
Watch my friend Dawn's blog for the Late Spring Field Day , come rain or shine!
Beautiful pictures!!!!! I love the one with your sweet little girl. I almost bought a gardenia plant last week, but it was too spindley : ( according to my husband : ) The smell was incredible!!!!!

I love taking pictures of flowers! I'm still waiting for most of mine to bloom. The peonies are ALMOST there!
