I've been living vivaciously through the blog of my cousin's husband who is in Africa on business.
It's interesting to see thatched roofs and tall lightning rods and thatched roof repairs. And did you know that, yes, a country could run out of C02? Who knew? Amazing!
And where else would you see all kinds of animals gathered at the river right below your balcony while you have tea!? Only in Africa, no doubt.
And the first hand nature-study he's getting; study only us homeschoolers can truly appreciate: live bait for lions, a wading pool of 100 elephants, and even more water buffalos and companion rhinos.
Only in Africa do you get this nature study without going to the zoo.
My daughter has to settle on leopard pajamas since we don't have access to the real thing. Not that I would harm the little darlings, so animal activist need not be alarmed.
We get raccoons, possums, and armadillos. Only in Africa do you see this on the side of the road in undissected formation.
Wow! Wouldn't it be wonderful to experience that, if only for awhile!?
