What happens when you wait until the middle of October to check out pumpkin books from the library?
No copies currently available shows up repeatedly on the computer log.
I suppose November is still a good time to check out pumpkin books.
And tonight my husband is taking me to Starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice Latte'. Thanks to Dawn for the coffee tip.
If you can't leave home, not to worry. Here's you a mock Pumpkin Spice Latte' recipe to heat up and enjoy with your hubby next to the fireplace.
I had some foresight and checked out some books on fall themes, but experienced the same results when I went back for more selections this week. Quite frustrating!

Jenn,
I just raided our home bookshelves and found several fall/pumpkin books which we read every year at this time. They are old friends the children love coming back to but we love to meet new friends too. :)
We're still planning a trip to the library today to see if we can find some crumbs on the shelves. :)
Table time is moving very slowly today...must be the weather...so we haven't finished up in record time like we usually do.

Yes, November is perfectly excellent for pumpkins! I have a number of pumpkin treats slated for November! Thanks for the recipe for Pumpkin Spice Latte ... sound delish! :o) And I just might have to get out and try a Starbucks version tomorrow morning ... in the name of celebrating my favorite season!

Cay, how did you like the latte? I tried one last week and it was *delicious* ... a subtle pumpkin flavor and excellent coffee. :)
Thanks for the link, btw!

Dawn,
I was yummy and, yes, subtle. I fully expected more of a pumpkin flavor with my first sip and was a little surprised how subtle it was. Still good though. ;)
Next trip I plan to get their maple macchiato. Haven't tried that one yet. :)
