My Book Meme...
Thanks to two special friends, I've been tagged twice by Denise at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Exchange and Alice at Cottage Blessings .
Pitifully honest, I will admit to never being able to just read one book at a time. I really tried to think of only one for each category but I have poor self-control when it comes to books. :)
1) THE BOOK THAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE: All The Way Home by Mary Pride & Seasons of a Mother's Heart by Sally Clarkson
2) ONE BOOK YOU'VE READ MORE THAN ONCE: Padre Pio: The True Story by Bernard Ruffin and The Read Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease
3) ONE BOOK YOU'D WANT ON A DESERT ISLAND: A Right to Be Merry by Mother Mary Francis
4) ONE BOOK THAT MADE YOU LAUGH: Please Don't Drink the Holy Water by Susie Lloyd
5) ONE BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY: A Grief Unveiled by Gregory Floyd (I've also read this book several times and turn into a bowl full of sobbing mush every single time) Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls needs to go here too
6) ONE BOOK THAT YOU WISH HAD BEEN WRITTEN: A book by my friend Alice
7) ONE BOOK THAT YOU WISH HAD NEVER BEEN WRITTEN: The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Fowler (I'm sorry but it doesn't even deserve a link---am I a meanie, or what!)
8) ONE BOOK YOU'RE CURRENTLY READING: Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe
9) ONE BOOK YOU'VE BEEN MEANING TO READ: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (I did finally read it this past Easter vacation---excellent!)
10) TAG FIVE OTHER BOOKLOVERS:
>6) ONE BOOK THAT YOU WISH HAD >BEEN WRITTEN: A book by my friend Alice
