Is it Anne of Green Gables?

Cay, we just began re-reading Betsy-Tacy tonight. That house looks exactly like Tacy's house, so that'll be my guess.
(I know it can't be Green Gables, because I've been there!) This is such a fun idea.

Cindy Lou, when I wrote this, I hadn't seen your guess (we posted almost simultaneously)--I was just musing about possible responses. It's been about twenty years since my Green Gables visit, so my recollection could be faulty!

Is it one of the houses on Klickatat Street? "Peggy" and I both love Beverly Cleary. :-)

I'm just musing too, but I'm guessing since it's a photo that it must be a 'real' literary character. So I'm guessing it might be one of the Little House homes, just to be different. Although I like the Betsy-Tacy guess too.

My first guess was Betsy-Tacy too.

I'm with Kristen, my first thought was a house Laura Ingalls Wilder might have lived in at some point in her life?

Wilder house in DeSmet?

I think it's one of the "little House" houses from the Laura Ingalls Wilder series.

Tacy's house on Hill Street, in Betsy-Tacy.
