This is my own Cajun Cottage version of the Simple Woman's Daybook
Outside my Window...a beautiful spring day with a touch of June in the air.
I am thinking. . . how well our garden is doing. Yesterday my husband picked a bucketfull of bush beans.
I am thankful for. . . life, family and friends
From the schoolroom. . .the main computer has been fixed!!! Now to catch-up on our Teaching Textbooks lessons. This will be a blessing to my un-mathematical daughter that her un-mathematical mother is no longer trying to explain mathematics to her.
From the kitchen. . . today was co-op day which makes for a long, tiring day. So Mondays are always slow-cooker or boxed meal suppers. Tonight it's 4-cheese lasagna w/ corn and baby lima benas.
I am wearing. . . a cream top and blue jeans.
I am creating... more Mosaics. I worked on three picture books today (inbetween the two co-op classes I teach).
I am going. . .to bed early.
I am reading. . .My Heart Lies South by Elizabeth Borton de Trevino
I am hoping. . .all is quiet on the home front w/ my sister-in-law and niece. Thank you for all the prayers. So far they are doing much better.
I am hearing. . . forks and plates in the kitchen.
I am praying...for my sister-in-law and niece.
Observing the Liturgical Calendar... May is all about Mary. Plans are for:
Around the house. . . I'm too tired to look. One day it's clean. Another day it's cluttered. Let me just say...'tis lived in.
One of my favorite things. . . books!
A few plans for the rest of the week. . .not much, not much at all. A ballgame, dance lessons, and a Language Arts curriculum sharing at my friend Linda's house.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
